My Approach

As an athlete and now as a counselor and coach I am goal-oriented and solution-focused.

I believe in meeting the client/athlete where they are; I help them reach their goals with a customizable training/treatment plan unique to their needs. Though each plan is different, I integrate aspects of Acceptance Commitment Theory (ACT), Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

My goal when working with athletes is to educate, draw attention to current strengths, and foster independence, resiliency, and a growth mindset.

Giving Back

Giving back to the community is a very important mission of mine, and it’s always been a big part of what I do.

Many of the organizations I’m involved with run school-sponsored or free programming.
